WAR !! What is it good for ??

The answer is , in this case hopefully, mobile photography :) Really loving the Nokia Lumia 925 that I am trialing at the moment and so decided to do my second photography/camera comparison straight away. This time I have been down to the Royal Armouries In Leeds to take some photos in various situations with my Nokia Lumia 920 and it's latest descendent the Nokia Lumia 925 which has the extra lens in its camera and the latest software update, and as a result , frankly blew the 920 out of the water, almost literally :) It's a real shame I only have the 925 on trial for a couple of weeks as I doubt I will get the 'Amber' update on my Lumia 920 in that time and it would have been great to have compared the two handsets again once they has the same software version to see just how much of the great improvements Nokia have made with the photo quality rely on the new software/algorithms and how much on that extra Carl Zeiss lens that the 925 has over the 920.

So on with the show !Q I have taken a substantial number of shots with the two handsets and as I hinted earlier, the newer 925 has done MUCH better than my old 920, but basically I will let the pictures do the talking, and hope you find this piece, interesting, at the very least :)

Going Indoors

I Think both, well any camera can, do a good job outside with the sun shining, but took a good number of photos inside the Armouries museum as well and there were some dark scenes, lots of glass cabinets to shoot through and also a good bit of back light. See what you think ?

Thanks

Well that's about it for now, rather than doing even more of an overkill than I already have with the photos, I will post all the shots I took today with both phones on my Flickr feed in a set and add a link here

Thanks for taking a look.
